I just didn't care for the food. The home style fries were not cooked thoroughly. The omelette was extremely bland spite having 3 meets and peppers in it. I got water and an omelet , my son got a small orange juice and one pancake. $18 plus a tip. Food did arrive quickly and portions were pretty big. Employees seemed friendly.

Cosy place wedged in a strip mall of 17th street. Found this place while searching on Yelp and it seemed a hit, or miss based on reviews. Walking up I can see luggage piled outside from tourists making their way to a cruise ship or airport. Friendly veteran waitress welcoming everyone and saying "seat yourself wherever you wish" , while running around to all her tables. Booth seating, bar seating, or outdoors. My husband offset the bacon cheddar omelet, I ordered the spinach feta omelet, both with home fries and toast(comes buttered) . Not long of a wait at all, the omelets are on the dry, well done side, the omelets were quite thin which might have influence. My home fries were salty, and yet my husband poured the salt shaker on his! The salt shaker pours out salt -beware, we also witnessed other customers have the same salty surprise. There was enough bacon and cheddar to make a good omelet. The whole wheat and Rye toast were yum. All said and done, great service but the food quality wasn't there as other reviews tried to warn me.

Super cool place for breakfast with indoor and outdoor sitting. Nice selections. We went for Turkish and English breakfast and were happy with our choices. Services is prompt and very friendly. Definitely our new favorite breakfast spot

Decent breakfast place, nothing too fancy, good service but without a smile. Good prices for the amount of food you get. Worst meal I had in south Florida for the weekend, but still better than 90% of the breakfast places in Orlando.

Great hole in the wall breakfast spot in Fort Lauderdale! Serves breakfast all day; huge portion sizes at great prices. Lots of options and friendly, attentive staff. Nothing fancy but perfect for an omelette, pancakes, typical breakfast. We will be back!

Great breakfast place. Homey, staff is super friendly, reasonably priced. Good coffee, good home fries. I wish they'd add homemade biscuits to the menu. Order the eggs Benedict!

This is my families favorite place to eat breakfast when visiting Fort Lauderdale beach. We went twice last year and twice. Last year, I remember friendly service and a great experience. We basically ordered omelettes, pancakes and french toast. Their home fries are delicious as well as their sausage. The food was very great this year, but the server this year was so unpleasant. I felt like it hurt her to say "thank you" or smile. Being a waitress myself, It really aggravated me. Even though our order was correct, There's more to a good server than just getting orders right. I feel like she could've done a little more to make us feel comfortable. I'm pretty sure her name was Angie. Other than that, we enjoyed our breakfast :)

Tucked away in a strip mall is the Harbor Cafe. Nothing fancy but definitely functional with plenty of free parking and decent food. at a reasonable price. And very friendly- no less than two people shouted out a greeting to me as I entered and told me to "sit anywhere"! I sat at the counter and ordered my usual- an omelet and coffee. The coffee was quickly poured and my omelet came out soon there after. The food was fine, I just wish there had been more of an effort to keep my coffee cup filled. I am not myself until I've had a few cups of the black stuff, so the fact that I had to keep asking for more made me a little nuts! It seems the servers were busy with next day prep of scooping out fruit and covering everything in sight with saran wrap. A suggestion to the owners might be that while those saran covered pastries on the counter are there for the impulse buy- you might want to re think that as it sends the "leftover" message with all the saran wrap they are wrapped in. And another pet peeve of mine? There are misspellings on the menu- "healthy" is spelled "healty" . . which made me think that maybe it's a legal claim and that they can't really call things "healthy"? Whatever the reason it made me take note. The real upside to this place are the people who frequent it. Friendly and outgoing- both locals and people working in the area, no one is a stranger for long . . .not at the counter anyway. The decor is a bit sparse but functional with wood tables and chairs and some homey prints on the walls. Breakfast for one ran about $13. As I said . . . .it's definitely a functional place to grab a quick bite for breakfast or lunch. But for this breakfast lovin' gal, there are other places around that just notch it up a little more.

Fish and chips are very good. The fish is panko breaded and tastes like it is either fresh or very high quality frozen. The tartar sauce had lots of dill and reminds me of my own homeade. Big and wide flat cut fries are great too (asked for them crispy and they are cooked just right). This is my first time here and I am impressed with my meal. I wish the coke was from a fountain as I biked here and am very thirsty ($2 cans = only drinking one :). Also, the outside seating is covered and has a nice breeze. 4 stars: The wait staff is 50/50. My waitress runs off before I finish speaking, but the waitress for the table next to me asked me how my food was and welcomed me back. I'll ask for her next time.

Was a disappointing experience. We ate here with a group of 7. The food we all ordered was typical breakfast fare but it just seemed bland, without flair. We generally eat at these type of presumed-family owned-little restaurants for breakfast on vacation but I'm sorry to say I wouldn't come back here.

I'm writing this review as a 1-time visitor of this restaurant while on vacation. This restaurant is spacious with a decent menu that includes breakfast and lunch, as well as burgers. I ordered a turkey sandwich and Jacob got a burger. I also ordered a Pepsi, which tasted pretty bad. I found the soda at most restaurants in Florida tasted like crap. Maybe it has something to do with the water there. My turkey sandwich was good, if not a little bland. Jacob's burger was well-seasoned and he seemed to enjoy it. The service was lacking considering the place was empty. We sat waiting for refills for several minutes before a server came back to our table. The prices were fair at about $8-10 per person. It's not extravagant food and they realize that. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if I visited Ft. Lauderdale again.

We based our visit on earlier reviews and were very disappointed. I will start with the good to be fair and say that the owner was very nice and welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated I asked the waitress for water and coffee with my meal. She brought water but forgot coffee. The second waitress came to get my order and I requested coffee again. Our meals were brought out and still no coffee. We asked for coffee a third time and we finally got the coffee. She brought it in a large mug stating it was to make up for the wait. That was very nice of her but she never returned during our meal, and therefore there were no refills. Onto the food,,,,,, I ordered eggs over medium and they made it to the table dark brown on one side and rubbery but to their credit the yolk was liquid. Beware the poor service and everything that comes after the owner's warm greeting.

This place is areal nice little local cafe. It's seems it is only breakfast and lunch but it's solid food at a good price. The gyros wrap and the western omelette are what I get most often. I generally take my mom here. I wouldn't say it's a date spot. Check it out if you are nearby

A GREAT PLACE FOR BREAKFAST. A group of friends from our condo complex went there for breakfast, we all go the special 222, two eggs two french toast and two sausages. The service was very fast and friendly. The place is very clean , as well as the restrooms. This is how I judge the kitchen. For $6.95 ,it's a nice way to start your day. Also try the fresh blueberry or banana pancakes are GRRRRRRREAT !!!

This is a good, solid, breakfast place. The prices are really good for the portion sizes and the service is fast and attentive. I have only been twice but will be back. The food here lacked all taste. I am a big fan of good, old fashioned, cheap Diners like Harbor Cafe. Somewhere to get a good simple breakfast of eggs, hash browns, and bacon. I didn't find that here. I got an omelette with bacon, cheese, tomatoes, and onions. The tomatoes were very watery and thus watered down the whole omelette. The onions were still basically raw, like they were just put in last minute. The home fries were the best part of the meal, but even those for OK at best. Coffee tasted like flavored water. It's a bummer because this place is so close to my house. Wish it was better.

Okay, I definitely am all about supporting small businesses. And it doesn't get more local, and down home than this. Tucked away in the corner of a nondescript shopping center, this place was mostly empty when I came in on a Wednesday morning. The service was friendly and their hearts are in a good place. I had eggs, toast, bacon and grits. This was as basic as food can get. The toast was thin and small. The grits mostly tasteless. It was a step below Waffle House. To just fill your belly, this is fine. But, otherwise, I'd pass.

The place looks clean. The food is not the exciting. I'm had the feta cheese and spinach omelet in a few places and the truth is most people mess it up and they weren't any better. But when you order whole wheat and get white that's bad. When you bite into an egg shell that's bad. They argued about how many tabled they had in front of the customers. I think that if they had more help the place would be better. It didn't help that when she wants to cast me out instead of punching in everything she just open the cash register and gave me change... I know you see bar rescue. .. what do you think. ...

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.
